World of Warcraft Verse: Thief turned ScribeBorn in Silvermoon City to a mother with a passion for books, who passed down this passion to Nataril and she grew up reading at every chance she had, however, that all changed when she was 11 and her mother died of an "illness" and she ended up on the streets. She had read a few stories of honest thieves and while she had a naive view, knew she'd need to steal to survive, luckily after a while she made a few other orphan friends and they worked together as a team to get more food.As time went on her love for books didn't go away and she began stealing those as well, this was a much riskier prospect however and she would be caught more than once by shopkeepers and eventually, this ended up with her in jail instead of just chastised as she neared becoming an adult. During her stay at the jail she met a mage who was visiting the jail and curiously asked why she was there, she admitted to the mage that she had been caught stealing an expensive book and that amused her. The mage introduced herself as Taridel and offered her a proposition, become her assistant and get to read all the books she could ever want, Nataril excitedly accepted the offer and once her bail was paid she began working for Taridel. As she worked as Taridel's assistant she was taught a bit of illusion magic as it had interested her and Taridel found teaching her amusing enough. Her life was happy and safe for the first time in years, but sadly that didn't last too long as the Scourge invaded Quel'thalas and she had to flee Silvermoon, losing Taridel in the process, miraculously getting away from the Scourge through the use of her illusion magic . She eventually made it to the relative safety of Stormwind, where she ended up in the life of a criminal once again, however, this time around the people she ended up running with were much more experienced and taught her how to be a better thief .Over time she picked up her habit of stealing books again, but this time around she was more careful and even sold the rarer and more expensive volumes after she'd read them through once or twice and made a copy of course. However, as she got older she stopped wanting to steal for her next meal or read and so she applied for a job maintaining books in a library. She was accepted after making a showing of her talents regarding the upkeep of books and a library as a whole. After a few years she heard that the Royal Library within the Keep was looking for Archivists who could copy and maintain old books and scrolls, she jumped at the opportunity and now works happily within the Stormwind Keep. However she still keeps her eyes and ears out for rare books on the market, stolen and not, keeping in contact with her old "merchant" friends.

Dragon Age Verse: The Chaotic SpiritTrapped within the Fade since it's creation, they caused chaos in the dreams of mortals, from lovable mischief to nightmarish torment. They were simply an embodiment of all that is chaos, however they were pulled through the veil by an Elven mage seeking something from them. In exchange for sowing chaos amongst her enemies she offered up her body as a vessel for the Spirit.Enthralled by the allure of wreaking chaos across the veil they accepted. Once within the Mage's body they set her enemies against each other and lit fires in the forest surrounding them. With the chaos wrought and their defeat assured in whatever mortal conflict they had, the Spirit took the Elf's name Nataril and began to explore.Eventually they found themselves in the thick of Inquisition business, having been drawn by the rift's chaos. They just barely managed to evade discovery as they spread mischief and merriment amongst the lower ranks for a time. However they would be found by (flexible lore point for DAI rp, default is) Varric and Cole who convinced her to side with the Inquisition, allowing her to freely spread her own brand of chaos, if not slightly guided by Cole to where it might be needed most.As time moved on so did Nat, making their way throughout Thedas and eventually arriving in Arlathan forest. The Veil Jumpers she found there quickly became one of her favorite groups to ever sow chaos amongst. As they were already so used to chaos it caused her to work harder against the challenge. However she would eventually fully join the Veil Jumpers, being mostly spirit herself she had a knack for traversing Arlathan and quickly became a go to for lost Veil Jumpers. Nat even got to see Varric once more, alighting with joy the moment he fell for the first trick she set before him.Meeting Rook she found them especially interesting and much less dangerous than the last hero. She jokingly told Rook to come find her if they ever needed her help, assuming the request would never come. Yet come it did after the Veil was nearly torn down and even Nat had to fight to not be lost to the chaos.

Also being given books.Veilguard Nat dislikes Dissuading her chaos, having the griffons stay with the Wardens.Personal QuestNat has no personal quest in DAI aside from some small personal moments where she would be vulnerable about her past to the Inquisitor, if welcomed by the Inquisitor after discovery. In Veil Guard Nat's personal quest revolves around the moments the Solas was doing his ritual and the chaos brought by the Blight in Arlathan. Solas' ritual deeply effected her spirit, causing her chaos to become unstable and closer to her original roots of pure uncaring chaos. Then with the blighted gods rituals in Arlathan forest her spirit became tainted, she is not infected by the blight but she progressively becomes more bloodthirsty over the course of the story and a way to stabilize or purify her must be found. The best leads are the Veil Jumpers for stabilization back to more of her merry trickster self or the Mourn Watch for the purification of true chaos causing her to shed the mortal body they inhabit and possibly freeing the mortal Elf who'd struck the deal...
